Bespoke Silver Sporran Cantle Design - One of our great passions is recreating some of the fine silver sporrans of the Victorian and Edwardian period for clients.
In our studio we take reference from design from the past and recreate cantle designs in fine Edinburgh hallmarked sterling silver.
We incorporate simple classic bullseye designs, Celtic knot work with the zoomorphic beasts and Pitctish design symbols to create engraving designs. These are then skill-fully engraved on to our bespoke silver cantles. Often inspired by sporran designs of the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries we also incorporate clan and family crests into the designs.
