  • Hand carved studded African black wood hilt

  • Sheffield stainless steel blade and non bladed faux versions now available.

  • Hand carved wooden scabbard covered in Moroccan leather and solid silver or brass mounts

In addition to the bladed sgian dubh we have started doing blade less faux vesrion for some clients, who just like some of the Victorians wanted a blade less for safety reason in the modern world. So all the style of a traditional sgian dubh, but without any of the risk or legal issues of carrying a blade.

Our range of fine hallmarked sterling silver skean dubh’s and dirks made by the renowned Regimental silversmith and Royal silversmiths Hamilton & Inches in Edinburgh, as well as our dedicated regimental silversmith in Scotland, offers an exquisite selection to choose from. Not only can we provide these sgian dubhs, but we also offer the option to personalise and engrave them, making them perfect for presentation gifts. These beautifully crafted skean dubhs perfectly complement the stunning range of silver buckles, kilt pins, and Scottish silver buttons available on our highland jewellery page, creating a cohesive and stylish ensemble for any Highland attire.
